“It is many times referred to as it being some place else, regarding someone else, and is rarely seen as being a part of an individual’s own life, own manner of expression.

In this time, the word ‘idolatry’, the practice of it, can be associated with many, many things, and areas, of this time you live.

There are many instances wherein financial success, the accumulation of assets, that supersede human understanding, human identification, and/or love of another human, idolatry is not just of an image, but it forces an individual to use himself or herself as the image of great power, in different areas wherein others would fear to tread, because of the dangers that are obvious to the dignity, the reality, and the purpose of human life.

Idolatry is not to be passed off or set aside, because it can take something that is avoidable and cause an individual, or individuals, to hold this in such high esteem, love, possession and desire, that it is offensive to all that is right, good, logical, and bears understanding, acceptance and caring.

Watch how you understand what you hold in such high esteem above God, and human love. There is a path to be a victim in and of, and that is idolatry, which does not show itself at a first glance, but it has a destructiveness in it that in many ways is totally diabolical.”
