“Fanaticism is not founded or based on sound logic. It can be considered obsession, oblivious to sound reasoning, closing out the clarity of sound values, and possessed with beliefs and/or a cover-up for the normal, the obvious soundness of the opposite of what the fanaticism is focused on.
There are fanatics in many areas of life, and ‘religion’ has an abundance of them.
Many times fanaticism supports the control of one or more people dominating the actions of others, using outlandish interpretation of the meaning of right over wrong, good over evil, based on self-righteousness, self-love, self-importance, self-interpretation of the subject of control.
Extreme dominance on the course of others’ beliefs and practices is exercised, constantly omitting the ‘free will’ of the individual or individuals. All association is based on obsession, possession, and obedience to the will of the fanatic.
People who follow fanatic leadership, do not look beyond the surface of the control. They become brainwashed by the force of control that is undeniably superior in its dictatorship.”
