“When someone is the head of a company or institution or the government, or any area of top authority, we do not revere them, we are obligated to respect them.
Respect is a necessary factor in most areas of life. Respect for other human beings should be an automatic response, gesture and/or communication.
Respect for God’s Commandments should be obvious in our daily life, through all our actions and interactions with other people.
God’s Commandments are not to be ignored, because They were given to us to preserve the dignity of human life and to consciously uphold the Laws of God by Purity of mind, body and Soul.
So many people lack respect for The Commandments, ignoring from Where They came, the Purpose for which They were given, and the responsibility that joins every human being with each Commandment.
The Fourth Commandment should be an automatic way of life, but in so many lives it is not. It is rejected and even obliterated from any thought of its importance.
HONOR THY FATHER AND THY MOTHER.
What does ‘honor’ in this context really mean?
It means to respect, to be bound by a relationship of worth and appreciation. It is a union of togetherness that should uphold the dignity of its purpose and responsibility.”
