"PROTECTION OF OUR SOUL - OUR MIND"

“Our mind is the closest part of us to our Soul. We cannot say, suppose, or rationalize, that a particular portion of our body such as our nose, our eyes, our hands, our feet, our heart, our arms, are what control what we do. These are only tools of our actions, but our mind, through our decisions, causes the results of our sound moral values and our sound moral standards. The human mind has a tremendous responsibility in every human being.

It is sad to say that sound logic, beneficial facts, good habits, reality, are most times watered down or even eliminated in some people’s thinking, because they are dependent on the action or reaction of other people, or on the opinions, abilities or lack of abilities of other people; plus, they have not trained themselves to evaluate their own abilities to make decisions that would perhaps be different than those they are being surrounded with.

It is important that all ages be taught they have a will to act with, speak with, that in real essence gives strength to their individuality, as long as they are ethical and moral in their concepts and decisions. The mind of the individual innately knows right from wrong, whether it be intuitive or indelibly marked within their understanding what is good, what is evil, what is right, what is wrong.

All through the History of mankind there have been many barbaric, corrupt, offensive, immoral organizations and individuals that totally deleted God from their thinking and actions, but at the same time there were as many or more who believed in sound moral ethics, sound moral values and sound moral standards, yet did not have the courage or the ability in some cases, to defend what was right. Why? Because in their decision they allowed fear, misunderstanding, intimidation or physical harm, to mentally evaluate their decision, eliminating sound ethics and sound moral values and sound moral standards.

Many times in History, too numerous to mention, are similar in many ways to the present time, with one great difference: television has expounded and expanded on the facts, bringing these facts into the visible and hearing advantage or disadvantage to millions and millions of people. In some ways this could be determined as good, and in other ways it could be determined highly detrimental, because it is alerting the minds of so many millions of people to what is presently acceptable to millions of people. As one looks visually at what is taking place with so many people in the world, to so many people in the world, one finds immorality acceptable and yet degrading to God’s Purpose for human life.

A story or a situation spoken of, or written, is oftentimes the excuse for others to be tempted to try or to enforce on others, but television, with its visual explicitness, encourages immorality in all forms of human degradation.

We do live in a time worse than Sodom and Gomorrah, but how many people in the world see it for the horror it is to that Portion of God within each human being, the Soul?”
