“Many times we pray for material gains and we see no reason why these prayers should not be answered, because we have all good in mind for what we want to gain through these prayers.

What we do not see is the full effect, that gaining what we are praying for could basically destroy someone, something, or cause an inner action of turmoil that would benefit no one because of the inability of someone who could not handle the financial or material gain.

It is difficult for human beings to understand beyond a given point, the human capabilities, strengths, inner likes and dislikes, hopes and dreams of another human being. Only God knows. So prayers are answered with God’s Wisdom in the Control rather than man’s feelings, desires, and emotional or mental ideas or ideals.

If we are honest, if we see the Perfection of God’s Love for us, we accept the way our prayers are answered and we go on from there; but if we, in sheer willfulness, determine that we don’t need prayer, we will do anything to achieve our goal, we are walking on water, deep water.”
