“When God hands a yoke to an individual, the yoke has many weights to it, many time periods to it, and the yoke, when it is first put on, is a yoke of wonderment and concern. And then, as the responsibilities deepen and the yoke becomes heavier, the one who has been handed the yoke feels the pressure of the yoke and the constant existence of the yoke. And even when there is laughter, happiness, and unusual times, the yoke is always present as a reminder that the joy of the moment is good for the human body, but the commitment, the dedication, the responsibility is always there.
As the yoke becomes heavier, sometimes a cry goes out, ‘Release the weight, God, make it lighter, no one’s listening.’ And sometimes there is no consolation; in fact, rarely is there consolation, because if the yoke were lightened at every complaint, a human being would use this every chance they could get, to lighten the yoke, lighten the weight. So God, in His Love for mankind, His Understanding for all of mankind, does not always respond as one would hope He would.
The ‘Yoke of Atonement’ is a yoke of Light, weight, and constant concern for the Souls of all people, not just those of us in the room, but for all people. We are an Organization with our home base that appears in the world as hilly land.
Christ walked similar land in His time, but the yoke He wore was totally different, for He was God. But when they strapped the Cross to Him, whether they strapped one piece or two, it was the weight of a tree that caused Him to fall to the ground, but it was more than that; it was the weight of mankind plus the tree.
The whole world shouts, ‘We want a Miracle,’ but all peoples in the world want a Miracle that cures all things, releases the weight of the yoke, and is a constant favor-giving, lifesaving act of love.
But in reality, if every time we cried, every time we shouted, ‘It’s too heavy,’ and He would release the weight, we would never grow stronger. It would weaken us in every way, because many times when we have problems, concerns, delays, we fight harder to conquer the obstacles and we take another route sometimes to find a different way. But we must always remember that the decision, that thin line between right and wrong, is the width of a piece of thread.
My children, as I have spoken to you, I have spoken softly on this night because of the weight of the yoke. We cannot release the weight of the yoke, there is too much at stake for the whole world.
Be prepared in many ways to grow stronger as you carry your yoke, because We Here in the Heavens, when you pray, hear your prayers. We understand your needs, your problems, and We also understand your dilemma, but Our Words to you are simple: Face each day of life; do not worry about tomorrow. Wear your yoke with dignity, love and purpose, and as you do each day, whether it is on you visibly or not, wear it with dignity, respect, accepting your responsibilities, and knowing that as you perform your responsibilities, you grow stronger in all the ways of life, in all ways of spirituality. Your will becomes stronger because of your determination to conquer the obstacles.
You must understand that if all obstacles were erased from you, there would be no challenge and you would be weakened in many ways.
Your goal is to see that piece of thread as an obstacle, and remember this: Conquer all your weaknesses so you will be sure to stay on the right side of that thread. It can be done. There is no one present who cannot accomplish this act of Divine Will, Divine Love for your Soul.
You say, ‘Who is speaking?’ I smile at this, for you see, I am a Saint Who walked the earth a long time ago. I am Saint Anthony of Padua. So be it.”
NOTE: Previous to this Message there was an introduction defining how thin the line of decision is between good and evil, right and wrong. It can be compared many times to the width of a piece of thread.
