"TIME MEANS SO MUCH MY SOUL SHOULD MEAN MORE."

“As an active member of The Society Of The Little Way, what do I mean when I answer to a request for help, ‘I’ve done my share’? What do I base my share on: what I have seen or thought I have seen others do, in comparison to what I feel I have done or I do?

I should ask myself, ‘What is my commitment to: God, for the purpose for which the Society stands, or do I tend to balance my being a member in how everyone else determines their membership?’

The reason Holy Mother Church is so fractured and so shattered is because the men in the Church took the easy way out, putting humanism before Godliness. No greater example is present in our day than the turmoil, desecration, destruction, that men caused because they were not able, did not want to give time and effort beyond what they felt was necessary, because they felt they had done their share and were doing it.

Time is important to everyone. Home life is important. The Spiritual growth is of the utmost importance. All these things are combined in everyone’s life, and the results show in our inner happiness, in our charity, in our understanding that none of these things have a straight wide line that flashes in front of us when we have supposedly done our share.

Life without work, without achievement, without sound moral values and sound moral standards, without charity, without hope, would be a life of despair, loneliness.

It is important that when we say, ‘I’ve done my share,’ we feel we know what we mean, and if we have done our share in one area, a wise person will seek out a constructive area so that time is not wasted, and that one’s Soul is not put on hold until some kind of spirit, not always Holy, enters the picture.

Every day we should remember to thank God for giving us something worthwhile to work for and with, something not to separate our lives from our families and our workplaces, but to balance our lives, constantly reminding us that our example, our Spiritual works of mercy, plus some Corporal works of mercy, do not weaken our physical being nor do they put such stress on our mental, but for the most part, give life more meaning, purpose, and more understanding.

There is so much wasted time on unimportant things, on things that give no credence to Spiritual works of mercy or Corporal works of mercy. Nowhere does God say, nor did He say, ‘You must not enjoy life,’ but in His Goodness, in His Love for mankind, He gave mankind Christianity in its fullest form. As Christians we must be active Christians, not inactive. Inactivity is many times satan’s opportunity to introduce a thought, an action, an idea, that appears harmless, intriguing, exciting, but in reality is not conducive to the growth, strength, purity of one’s Soul.

If everyone in the world at this moment, could say or would say, ‘I’ve done my share,’ it would be best to say, ‘Stop the world, I better get off.’
