"FEIGNING NAIVE UNDERSTANDING IS NOT THE SOLUTION"

“It is not always our innocence that avoids interpretation of what other people appear as, or what they say. Many times we blind ourselves to the words and phrases that should be recognized when they obviously appear in our social life, business dealings, religious affiliations, because we do not want to categorize our relationships with what can be termed an ‘ugly, dangerous situation’.

Sometimes words and phrases are not only spoken, but are obvious by how other people act through their morals, their code of ethics, their stability or instability, in their convictions, standards, degree of fairness, where they place their loyalties, and definitely their decisions on sound moral values and sound moral standards.

Our relationships with others should be scrutinized thoroughly for our own protection, because many people are subject to being two-faced, subjecting us to their insecurity, their low self-esteem, their ego, their desire to be liked and accepted, many times totally incapable of accepting and/or being honest about many things, and truthful in very few things.

We oftentimes ignore the fact that we are dealing with people who live with actions and words that can only be described as a double-edged sword, unwilling and/or incapable of seeing the true value of a person or given situation. Sometimes these people are very dangerous because they cannot be counted on for an honest, strong decision, which makes them poor risks for dependability.

It is not a nice, comfortable feeling when one is dealing with an obvious fence-sitter. A fence-sitter plays all ends to the middle, not just appearing incapable of a solid commitment to make a decision, but obviously unable to think for his or her own self, also unable to discuss intelligently for fear of being accused, or responsible for a decision.

A fence-sitter in a position of authority can be detrimental to sound progress, and to the credibility of persons, places or things.”
