“Sins are not just mistakes. Sins are deliberate decisions, made with distinct reasoning, using one’s moral code of ethics with one’s own will.

Sins differ from mistakes because of the immorality intended, practiced, issued, or extended, offending God in one or more ways, against His Ten Commandments.

There are many categories in which sin is evident in human behavior, all of course, against God’s Ten Commandments. Some people, in committing sin, are the originators of the wrong. Some find great comfort and justification in being the victims of the wrong.

A sin, no matter how minute it may appear on the surface, leaves a scar or a blemish upon one’s Soul. If people could but relate to how a burn or some physical abuse to the body can leave scars or blemishes to be seen, or even unseen, then perhaps it would be a good practice to remember sin as leaving the Soul in an impure, abused state, not just in appearance, but in grave danger.

As the physical body sometimes becomes victimized by infection for some reason or other, it is always necessary to find some means to control or correct the infection. When the Soul is infected by sin, as Roman Catholic Christians, having been made aware of the Importance of the Soul to God, common sense would say, ‘I must correct the wrong for the good of my Soul.’

If we have a reputation of repetitive sins that have become a habit to us, we must see the deep scars that are continuously pleasing satan and displeasing God, because the truth of the Importance of our Soul should always be evident to all decisions we make, remembering that in our creation as a human being, we were made to the Image and Likeness of God, with intellect, a will, and as the custodian of a Special Sacred Gift from Him, a Part of Him, our Soul.”

Nor Does Sin”
