“It should be followed up by ‘Don’t be so broad-minded in approving with and in, other people’s possible immorality.’
A common expression that can promote infidelity, bad example, and encourage immorality is ‘Live and let live.’ This can have great influence in determining that someone else’s behavior is only their business.
One’s own sense of morality should immediately be alerted to the many adverse things that could be accepted in what is wrong, what is sinful, because wrong and sinful is based on satan’s deceit in getting you to accept evil, letting you think that your generosity and judgment is the right stand to take. Actually, such broad-mindedness can be an entrapment for you, guiding you into falling into the briar patches, exactly where satan wanted you.
God’s Way is always sound common sense, sound values, sound standards. Satan, the imitator and the deceiver, is experienced at clouding the issue so that everything is not obvious, and he continuously distributes a smoke screen over the briar patches that in reality are the pitfalls to Hell.
When you think that you do not have the right to interfere with what another person is doing and your mind says ‘Live and let live,’ do not ignore your responsibility that never leaves you, and that is to speak out loud against being drawn into what is wrong, and your responsibility to stand up for what is right, through your example, and your courage to say ‘No’ if it involves you in any way. Also, remember to not commit a broad-minded attitude condoning or justifying immorality, even though it is the other person’s decision to be made for himself or herself.”
