“Common sense, sound logic and Faith in God’s thoroughness in all things, tells us that God’s Purpose for this time with Moses was complete in all facets, details and explanations.
The ‘Supernatural Power’ from which and through which The Rules of God’s Will for the people in that time, up to our time, and for all time to come, prove Their validity, importance and positive purpose by Their very content and direction.
Moses was the instrument of God’s to instruct, direct, lead, and deliver to the whole world, God’s Rules and Commands to mankind, so that mankind would begin to understand what God Himself wanted for them and wanted of them.
God’s Ten Commandments were, in truth, the beginning of God’s Way, to Personally teach the foundation, beauty, necessity, and the purpose of Christianity.
The very delivery of the Ten Commandments and what They contained, had to be ‘the proof’ to the people at that time that God truly existed, and there was hope, that before this had little foundation.
The culture of the people at that time did not encourage justice to all people.
It is sad, even tragic, that with such beautiful, easy Rules to guide our lives, and for us to live with a feeling of security in all facets of life, so few people actually practice obedience to God’s Ten Commandments. In fact, it is a rare conversation, rare subject for moral instruction by the clergy, by parents, or by religious instructors.”
“IT IS TIME THESE COMMANDMENTS BE MADE THE SUBJECT OF CONVERSATION, TEACHING, AND LIFESTYLE.”
“ASK YOURSELF,
‘WHAT IS MY PERSONAL UNDERSTANDING OF GOD’S TEN COMMANDMENTS?’
1. Did I just read Them, or just hear about Them, or did I learn Them, and make Them the Guidelines of my life? Or, did I cast Them aside, not accepting Them, in and for, the full content that each Word meant, and the full meaning God intended it to be?
2. Do I understand the full impact of each one of His Commandments, or do I simplify Their meaning by comfortably looking at Them as so simple, taking Them so literal?
3. Do I take it for granted that God’s Commandments were meant for people in another time, and feel that the time I live in is different?”
“It Is Important To Understand
The Full Meaning God Intended
In His Ten Commandments”
“I could be sinning if I say ‘Yes.’
I could be sinning if I say ‘No.’
I could be sinning if I say ‘I can.’
I could be sinning if I say ‘I can’t.’
I could be sinning if I say ‘I will.’
I could be sinning if I say ‘I won’t.’
I could be sinning if I say ‘I want to.’
I could be sinning if I say ‘I don’t
want to.’
This is why my moral judgment, moral justice, moral realization, moral actions, moral perseverance, moral acceptances, moral obligations, moral responsibilities must be based on my belief in, and my obedience to, God’s Ten Commandments.”
