“Dear God,

I realize there are so many things I have received from You to give my life interest, purpose and goal. I thank You for each one of them, and I pray that I will use them to benefit my physical life, and even more than this, my Soul.

I do not always practice the proper pure method of everyday self-control, but in my heart I truly know that there is a Part of You within me that keeps me strong.

The strength I speak of is not just connected to my physical role, but many times I feel a strength I know can only come from my Soul. It is a different feeling because it is a yearning, a need to know more about You, and to please You in ways of prayer, special devotions, and learning more of what Your Will is where I am concerned.

I love You, God, please know this. Help me to please You in all I do, and never let me out of Your Sight, for it would be such a waste of the precious Gift of Life.”
