“We live in what men call ‘civilized times’, yet there are happenings, occurrences and events that make one wonder what people in our time refer to or consider civilized.
The pernicious effect that drugs, pornography, abortion, permissiveness, cults, alcohol and homosexuality are having on so many people, must certainly be recognized as a breaking down of logical moral values and sound moral standards, in spite of what men think that they live in: a civilized world.
On top of all the obvious pernicious dangers, desecrations and destructiveness, there are many underlying demonic gestures, entertainments, and indulgences, that on the surface appear challenging, interesting and even creative. Some are in the form of games, one obvious is Dungeons and Dragons. Some are in the form of fanatical, emotional, quote, unquote, dance crazes, another quote, unquote, music of the times, totally suggestive of permissiveness, and in some cases, downright demonic inferences.
Fear of physical harm is innate in all men, women and children. Then how can so many people jump into the traps willingly, that are obvious dangers to their physical, their mental, their emotional, and their Spiritual intellect and beliefs?
Today is a beginning of a time set aside to remind us of Our Lord, His Passion, His Sacrifice for us, His Crucifixion that gave to us a Gift no one else could ever be capable of giving us. He Opened The Gates Of Heaven for our Soul to be able to enter at a given time, fulfilling the Purpose for which we were born, and the promise for Eternal Life.
Also, at this time we rejoice at His Ascension into Heaven and what this should mean to all of us, a firm desire to follow What He Taught, and to work to accept What He Meant all this to be for: our Soul to one day ascend into Heaven to be with Him for All Eternity.
No day should be wasted, no time should be misused, with such a Reward waiting for our acceptance, for our success to the fullest degree of the physical life.
It is time to correct, to restore any part of our life that has a pernicious effect upon our Soul. It is time that we look into everything we are involved in, everyone we are involved with, and identify our behavior with what we know is God’s Will. In this way, no matter what occurs around us, what other people think or do, our sound example through our acts of kindness, consideration, self-discipline, self-control, acts of charity, good manners, unselfishness, and above all these things, we must openly reject any invitation to partake in what we know will create a scar or cause a mar on our Soul.
Remember the words: ‘Offenses against God are pernicious to our Soul.’”
