“Wars are defined in many ways, for many reasons, but always subjected to great losses of human life. Plus the physical losses, there are always numerous mental strains that affect attitudes, motives, decisions, responsibilities, values, standards and personal relationship with other people.

The effects of wars is far more extended into each individual’s life because it has a tremendous effect on the morality that many times encourages disobedience to God’s Ten Commandments, forgetting obligations to God, emphasizing only the conduct necessary to fulfill the orders of sometimes very incompetent people.

There have been many barbarous times in History, contrary to the Laws of God, intercepting the dignity of man with inhuman, egomaniacal, power-hungry individuals who, in essence, could be branded ‘cowards’ if they were not in command.

The greatest courage, the greatest leaders the world has ever had, have been those who, against all odds, shielded purity in all their decisions, basing their armor with love of God first and above all things, practicing purity of mind, of heart, of actions, of intentions, of motives, of direction, of example above all things. A world concentrated in this way would be a strong world to be a part of, for in purity God exists, in human abusiveness only man’s weaknesses exist.”
