“Men observe notices that bring their attention to a happening, a ruling, a change, a warning.
Such notices demand attention because they are of importance to someone, to some thing, or to some directive.
God’s Ten Commandments are Notices that must be obeyed because of the nature of Them and because of from Whom They came. They are Warnings, Directives, and of course, Rules that command attention, obedience, and change in man’s moral behavior.
In general, notices come through many medias. It is important for us to remember God’s Ten Commandments were engraved in stone and instilled in great depth in a chosen son, Moses, who was given the responsibility to pass These on in the manner God decreed.
