“I am Saint Alphonsus Liguori. There have been so many Directions given in different types of Wording, because every man, woman or child who reads What has been put in print, will grasp a different subject, and associate it with their own particular way of life. Sometimes it will be understood according to how they were raised, according to their education, according to the type of work they do, according to the type of friends they associate with. Most of all, it will be associated with the type of Spiritual understanding they have.
Morality, immorality, actually should mean the same to all people, because all people should base everything they do on The Commandments of God. I could speak extensively on each Commandment. It would take many hours, because each Commandment has a definite reason, purpose behind it, in it, and there are so many places in life, portions of life, vocations of life, that would be touched by different interpretations of the very same Words.
We stand Here in the Heavens, constantly waiting to be given permission to speak through this woman in the world, because We All see the terrible tragedy that is affecting many, many lives, and of course, many, many, many Souls. What is a sin to one man, man feels is not a sin for himself or herself. Sin is many times thought of as a thing of the past, or just something that arrives from, or is derived from one’s own intention in any given case.
So much has been said so simply, so directly. So much has been delivered to touch all types, all degrees of intelligence, all walks of life. The most learned men and women sometimes omit the most simple approach to morality. So many times mankind is so involved with a given subject that morality is secondary, or even beyond that, in his or her thinking. Decisions are made continuously all day, all night. Some are sheer abomination. They are vile in relationship to The Commandments of God. Man wakes up the next day and feels no shame, no fear, no concern, and goes on his or her way.
Man talks about sorrow, but few talk about the sorrow that should be connected to sin. Few feel the violent action to the Soul when sin is committed. They say: ‘It is human to do these things. God made us human. He expects us to be human.’ They even add that some people are overconscientious regarding what is a sin, what is not a sin. My, the Words were given a long time ago, yet man still argues, not the validity of the Words, but how personal the Words are to his or her life.
I will close, but I close with one wish, that all races, all colors, all creeds, will see the Value to All that has been given through This Miracle, and in seeing It, will decide that morality has much more happiness in it, much more value to it, so they will practice it every day of their lives. So be it.”
