“I am Saint John Vianney. In so many areas of Spiritual practices, mankind depends upon a specified hour a week to satisfy the needs of the Soul. Sometimes there are intermittent prayers said spontaneously, if and when one feels the urge to do so.
Many times, an individual plans to make a particular time available to say particular prayers, but as I see it and Others Here see it, the manner in which these prayers are spoken, or are mental with no sound, they are not always to the degree that would express a sincere love for God, for one’s Soul, or for perhaps one’s personal intention these prayers were intended.
When I was upon the earth, I was known to express harshly, adamantly, my interpretation of the need for more spirituality, and definitely more actions, thoughts, deeds, to conquer any impurities of the mind or the body.
Many who came to confess to me, left where I was, feeling guilty, for my words were strict, but through the strictness of my words they oftentimes neglected to understand or feel my sincere concern for the Soul that could be victimized if their manner of living or if their habits of living would not change.
Man talks about the habit of doing things and says, ‘It is difficult to break a habit.’ I, Saint John Vianney say, ‘Get your habits in priorities, keep the good ones, cast out the bad ones. It is all a matter in the decision of one’s will.’
Man says, ‘I’m hungry.’ If food is available he eats it according to the manner he is used to, and sometimes he has manners in doing it that would be repulsive to others, plus he would soon find himself or herself without any companionship.
Let us compare feeding the body with the nourishment that is needed for one’s Soul. The Soul constantly craves to be nourished through acts of prayer, through actions that are pure, through means that ensure the beauty of going to God in the right manner, for the right reason, and with intentions that are not only pleasing, not only satisfying, but Grace-giving.
Some men, women and children pray for small earthly measures because of desires they have to own, to possess, and to please a whim, a liking, or a desire. Imagine how the Soul stands by, wanting the one with whom the Soul is in, to kneel to request The Father’s Attention, The Mother’s Attention, or a particular Saint. This act of love, act of intention, passes through the Soul to reach the Point of Attention.
Compare the two. One says, ‘I am hungry.’ It is a physical thing, a mental thing, and there is an extreme desire to please the physical, the mental. Now compare it to the Soul and how prayers pass through the Soul to reach The Father. The Soul is sometimes so happy that the Soul does not want the communication to end, because the Soul, at this point, partakes in the human endeavor to touch Divine Love direct.
I could speak for hours, but as I close, I want to leave a small Lesson of Love with you. Never forget, you are a Precious Creation of The Father, and within you, you are responsible for that Portion of Him, the Soul, because one day He will stand in Judgment of It, and you must remember that you are responsible for all It represents at that moment in time. So be it.”
