THE TWENTY-FIFTH ANNIVERSARY OF
THE MIRACLE OF SAINT JOSEPH

“As you diligently work to pass on to the world Instructions in what mankind must understand regarding the Gift of The Father, the Portion of Him that is in each man, children say, ‘I must learn certain things; it is expected of me to pass a particular course in understanding History, Mathematics, Science, Language, English, and many other things.’

How many would say, ‘I must better understand what I am all about as a human being’?

How many would say: ‘I feel there is more to me than just what I am expected to understand in the form of knowledge, associated with the things in the world that I partake in, or will partake in eventually. I’ve heard about God, but I cannot connect a Face to Him. I’ve heard many things regarding what He expects of me, but I see Them as Rules, I understand Them as part of human living.

‘I am told that I was created to the Image and Likeness of God. I wonder what part of me truly looks like Him. I listen to others talk, but I do not hear them say, really, what is inside me that makes me even think of God. I cannot connect it to my daily thoughts. I cannot connect it to things I learned. I cannot connect it to the place in which I live, because we are all busy learning other things.

‘We have a daily routine. We have responsibilities, but there is Something inside of me that seems to call out that I am to pay attention to It, and sometimes I say: “I wonder what it can be.” I read some Words. These Words mention a Soul. Now I feel That Part of me I cannot see, That Part of me I cannot touch, That Part of me that makes me feel there is something more to what I am all about.’

What I have just related to you is important because it is, in many ways, something that is going on in different ways throughout the world. As I speak from the Heavens, We are totally aware of every thought that passes through every age, every human being. We are totally aware of the cries for help. We are totally aware that there is great need for children of all races, all colors, all creeds to be taught about That Important Portion that was placed within their being at the moment of conception: the Real Purpose for living, the Real Purpose for Goal, the Portion of God, the Soul.

If The Father had handed to each newborn child something to carry in his or her hand, it could not have been, for the strength would not have been there, nor the ability, so in The Father’s Wisdom, He placed within the being, a Portion of Himself.

Now, there are many things that affect the Soul. Of course, the main one is the will, the will to do what is right, the will to do what is pure, regardless of all the temptations or suggestions to choose the other way.

Man has been given a conscience. He talks about this, but does he really relate this conscience to his actions? Does he take this conscience and say, ‘This is definitely an important part of me, for if my conscience is clear, I feel good, I am happy; if my conscience has an impurity in it, I feel differently’?

Man must begin to understand more about the conscience that is so closely connected to the will, and must understand the importance of the will to the Soul. I am Saint Alphonsus Liguori.”
