“Man connects a Blessing given by one whose vocation is a dedication to serve in the way of the Priesthood, for the Spiritual instruction that mankind depends upon for the Salvation of his or her Soul.

Many times, even when an individual does not practice a formal religion, they instinctively react to a time that a Blessing is being administered. In reality, it is the Souls of the individuals that are reacting to a Blessing that is meant to give strength, to give hope, to give security, and it is a reminder of the Existence of God. I am Saint Alphonsus Liguori.

Too many people, in making ‘The Sign of The Cross’ on themselves, make it in an irresponsible manner, lacking dignity, respect, for what this Sign of Faith means. Children are not learning this Act of Love, this Act of Commitment, this Act of Special Meaning, because they are not being taught what it truly means, and that it is, in reality, a prayer of recognition to The Holy Trinity.

Mankind many times insults The Holy Trinity by acting as though this open Act of Love, of Devotion, of Belief, of calling upon The Father, The Son, and The Spirit of God, drawing attention to or for a special reason, a specific need, a request for help, or just a prayer saying, ‘I love You,’ this small act is becoming less and less important, as well as other open Acts of Love such as kneeling to pray, genuflecting, honoring The Blessed Sacrament, using ‘The Sign of The Cross’ in front of the Tabernacle wherein God truly resides, to begin a series of prayers, ending the prayers because of some interruption, without demonstrating ‘The Sign of The Cross’.

There are millions of children throughout the world who have never seen this Act of Love, this Expression of Faith. There are thousands of people throughout the world who would gain much if more of mankind would openly express belief in The Holy Trinity by a mere movement of the hand, not necessarily making the sound of the words audible.

When a man, woman or child takes the time, no matter where they are, and others are around, it is a Sign of Christianity, it is a Sign of Dignity, it is a Sign of Open Love, it is an Expression of a Belief that cannot be misunderstood, because it speaks out loud, it says more than an individual realizes. It is not a fanatical motion, action, demonstration.

Man says to man, ‘I love you.’ Why cannot man understand ‘The Sign of The Cross’ says to God, ‘I love You and I want others to know I love You’?

This Miracle has been a Miracle of Teaching, of Direction, of constantly instructing what is best for the Souls of all of mankind. Individuals throughout the world are the greatest instruments of teaching, because through their actions, their manner of living, their method of instructing in a humble manner, openly allowing others to see their loyalty to God in their daily way of life, let Me remind you, this Small Expression can bring a human being who sees it, back to understanding the importance of prayer, the importance of not being ashamed of prayer, and that there is a dignity in the Expression, through the actions of the movement of a hand.

As I close My Words to you now, I say to you with a Blessing you are familiar with: ‘I bless you in The Name of The Father, I bless you in The Name of The Son, and I bless you in The Name of The Holy Spirit of God,’ for you see, it is important at this time for you to remember that These Words should be on your lips, in your heart, on your mind, many, many times during the day, and also when you are awake during the night. So be it.”
