“Man talks about a party, a celebration. He looks forward to this with much anticipation. He plans ahead because he wants this time to be remembered as special enjoyment for his relaxation. Too many times these anticipated events are blindly seen because they anticipate only a pleasure. They omit the possibility of being introduced to or being expected to participate in sinful activity, immorality. Once inside the door, it is difficult to leave where this takes an excuse not always easily applicable.

There are so many indiscretions, moral indiscretions being accepted, because of a weakness in the moral obligation that mankind feels he must comply with if God’s Rules would be seen as a higher obligation for the sake of one’s Soul, and that it is more important to understand this than to be concerned about social obligations that can destroy one’s Soul.

Mankind has become so adjusted to supporting humanism, supporting social obligations, no matter what they are, that there is great indifference to where the real obligations should be directed, and that is to the Salvation to one’s Soul. True, much has been taught regarding the safety of this Precious Part of man’s life. True, God’s Commandments were given for the safety of This Portion of God in each man’s life. It is sad, but there are millions and millions and millions of people throughout the world who are totally unaware that they have an obligation to God, above all obligations to man.

Presently in the world there is a constant disfiguring of a sound moral act. It is put in a status of mockery, and so many men and women do not protect the Soul against the evil that is constantly and consistently drawing mankind to the opposite force, insulting the Soul, degrading the Soul, ignoring the Soul. Man’s behavior can be insulting to man, and many times the one who is insulted responds defending a time, a situation, or an opinion. Ask yourself, how many times have you defended the purity of your Soul openly when you were going to make a decision that would insult your Soul?
