“Physical blindness is not a blindness one inflicts on himself or herself. It is a sadness to see a human being unable to see the light of day, the darkness of night, the face of a loved one, or the beauty of all that is on the earth, the beauty of the sky. The one consolation in blindness of the eyes is the fact that the other senses of the body become more acute, more sensitive, more obvious.

In reality, there is another blindness that millions and millions and millions of people inflict upon themselves. This blindness is a moral blindness, giving much credence to immoral actions, thoughts, words and example. Moral blindness is devastation to the Soul of an individual and all the Souls that this individual comes in contact with.

The self-infliction of this terrible disease that affects the Soul of the individual, and other Souls, will one day have a chastisement beyond any human punishment that man can conceive.

Blindness in the physical way can be a Gift. Moral blindness is not a gift because it mars the Soul, or even many Souls Who come in contact with it.
