“Sometimes when Heaven allows light talk, it is to help people understand that life goes on and that there are many facets to life. There’s a mental that must be alert and enjoy things, and also learn constantly. There’s a physical that always needs care, attention, and of course, a routine of being taken care of. And then there’s that other part, that part of us that needs a social life; it needs to give lightness to our life, it needs to give distraction, and it needs to give us, stimulate in us a happiness that some things couldn’t possibly do.
The Saints All lived such a life as we live. The Saints All lived a very natural life. Padre Pio lived a natural life, according to his priestly duties. He, too, enjoyed humor; he, too, enjoyed learning the whole time, and he, too, enjoyed performing his duties — and that’s you and I. The Other Saints did the same thing.
There’s not one of us in this room that is a living Saint. We are reaching for Sainthood. There’s not one of us in this room that is perfect in each other’s eyes, let alone in God’s Eyes. There’s not one of us in this room that can say that we are so totally happy that nothing could make us happier. Some of us have sadnesses, but we must look for the hope through the sadness that we feel. We must wipe away anxiety if we possibly can, because anxiety drags us down, weakens us, and detours us, distracts us from looking at a sound, positive attitude and outlook on life.
All of Us Saints walked the earth with the hardships, with the challenges, with the hopes and the dreams, with the responsibilities, and with the need for friendships, the need for family to understand us, and of course, with many responsibilities attached to every facet of life.
There are Seven of Us that have spoken tonight, Seven of Us Here in a Place different than you know a place to be, but a Place that speaks naturally to you, for that is how you understand about life and many directions in life.
Heaven lights the way with Words. Heaven lights the way with Hope. Heaven lights the way with the love you have for your Soul. The Soul is the Most Important Part of a human being’s whole being. The Soul is the Light The Father gives at the moment of conception.
It is sadness Here when a child goes through many years of life and never learns about the Soul, never is told that there is a Soul. There is no explanation of It so many times that the child wonders what it is that draws the child to believe in prayer, to believe in Faith in a God that the child cannot see.
All ages are children to God, all ages are precious to God, for you see, in each human being there is a Soul, a Portion of God.
So remember, as you go through life, when you leave here, on the morrow, the next day, the next day and the next, that you have a Portion of God within you, a Portion that is distinct from any other part of your being, a Portion that waits for everything you say, everything you do, a Portion that longs to return to Him, to once again be a Part of the Place from Where It came.
You are lucky, you are fortunate, and you have the opportunity to not just understand you have a Soul, but to use what you know, use what you are, use what you do, to give that Soul more Light, more Growth, more Hope, more Love, so when the day comes and this Soul stands before God Himself, the Soul will shine bright, the Soul will not show hurt. The Soul will be comfortable in the Presence from Where It came.
You have a responsibility, you have the knowledge, you have the way. You also have the means, and do not forget, you have the ability. So be it.”
