“My beloved sons, I am Saint Alphonsus Liguori. The word ‘pernicious’ is very important to all men in this time, in your day, for you see, everything that surrounds you has a pernicious effect on what you are; for you see, you are the custodian of a Soul God gave to each of you, for a Purpose, a Reason, definitely.

I walked the earth. Sometimes I was quiet. Sometimes I spoke a lot. I spoke with authority and I sometimes spoke silently with a body language that said more to the men and women who were around, for sometimes my very silence said ‘Yes,’ ‘No,’ ‘I agree,’ ‘I don’t agree.’ Practice it, and you will find that people will look to what you feel, if you use strength in how you walk for The Holy Trinity.

Being a Saint in Heaven says service to God continuously. Being a man upon the earth says service to God physically. Give to other men kindness. Hand charity where it is needed. But remember that your example to all people is important to God, for if you are bad example you will be accountable for what the other person responds to, from what they see, what they hear through you.

As you are Blessed with the Light of Holiness, as you are Blessed with the Light of Truth, be assured that God does not want you to be impure in any way, for any reason, with anyone, at any time, for God wants your Soul to return to Him bright, glowing, so as It passes before Him, He will see Himself in your Soul and He will say:

‘Go to this place, My child, for I am proud that you listened to Me. Your Faith was strong. Your Faith gave hope to others, and through your time upon the earth you were important to other men, sometimes silently. Your effort to please, your effort to respect, your effort to control yourself at times when things were dim, when things were dull, when things were delayed, when things seemed so transparent that you could see the obstacles that felt too much to conquer, then you forged on to victory.’

Never allow yourself to feel the victim of obstacles. Take each obstacle each day, approach it, and then conquer it. It may be an obstacle that involves you in many ways or it can be an obstacle that just touches your mental, touches your eyes, or just your senses that are obvious to you. But remember this: God gave each man a brain, an intellect, knowledge, and the ability to reach wisdom, and wisdom will give you insight into many things. Knowledge gives you the ability to learn more, but soundness in wisdom gives you the capability and the strength to conquer the obstacles that you meet each day.

Daily times with thoughts of The Father will give you the strength and the courage to practice purity. Purity is not to be ignored by any man, no matter what race, color, creed, for you see, purity is in God’s Will, because purity is strength, impurity is weakness. Remember this, and when you think that something could be of a pernicious nature to your physical or to your Spiritual, look at it straight on and look to God for the aid that you need.

You are Blessed, My sons, with a Light you cannot fully see. Some of you see It in a manner you can handle. Some of you feel It in a way that your physical responds to. And I, Saint Alphonsus Liguori, say, ‘Be just with yourself for you will not always get justice from other men, but if you respect yourself and others, you will find purity in the end.’ So be it.”
