“People are talking about Christianity and they don’t even know what it means. They are shouting, ‘Love’. They never experience it, they say. They want to experience everything, but in experiencing love, you have to share, you have to give, but love is a tangible thing also. Love is expression of your actions, your values, your standards. Love is also a sharing.

Hope has more strength in it many times than love, because hope is something, in the worst moments of our life, that we have to cling to, because if we have hope we can have direction. If we have hope within us, it will give us strength to go on because sometimes love seems to dwindle; but if we have hope, there is something to look forward to, something that we can cling to and say, ‘I can see light in the future, I can see strength in all I have to look forward to.’

And do not forget that hope is here tonight; that hope is in how you feel, hope is in your Faith in God, hope is in how you act with your Faith in God. Hope is in your prayers. Hope is in carrying out your vocation of life with justice with whom you work, for whom you work. Hope has many, many facets to it.

So tonight, when you leave here, don’t lean on love, lean on the Hope that God has expressed through The Miracle Of Saint Joseph. And do not forget that hope is what you awaken with every morning, a hope to do things right, a hope in your whole life to accomplish something that day, and a hope for health, a hope to be a part of something good happening, a hope to give others happiness through your very life. So tonight is a real expression of hope for each one of us here tonight.

Now please, as you pray do not forget, the Light of God’s Hope is in your Faith. The Light of God’s Love is in your actions, in your example. The Light of Divine Will is in your Future, your Goal, and the Light that shines in your Soul is the Part of God that you must return to Him for All Eternity.

It is not easy to walk for God because there is great responsibility to it and in it, but to feel His Presence, to desire to serve Him at all times gives strength to every moment you live, for I, Saint Francis of Assisi, want you to know that I, too, lived in strict hope, solid hope, handing hope to other men, for them to better understand the stability of life, the necessity for reliability in life, and of course, to better accept the beauty of responsibility for life, for the benefit of each man’s Soul.

I stood in many minor ways. I stood in the Direct Light of God’s Rays, and I stood hoping that men would see the sincerity, the honesty, the integrity, the dignity in what I was, for I wanted them to follow the example that I knew God wanted to show through me for the good of each man’s Soul.

You, too, must generate this Light, this goodness, this hope, and yes, His Love, for the good of other men’s Souls; for each man, woman and child you pass each day, you are associated with each day, you are example to and for each day, you must transmit the Hope of Divine Love for the Soul that touches your Soul, from the other one. So be it.”
