Saint Alphonsus Liguori

“Man suddenly wonders why there is so much uncertainty in profession, in the social life, and in the Spiritual way. Men seek points of stability and basis for fundamental findings. A sound way is a stable way. Instability causes crisis. Insecurity causes instability. All men fear many things. Few fear the loss of the Soul. Man is most unstable in the physical life when the Soul is in jeopardy.

Many men applaud, not the adventuresome man, but the one who is termed a ‘daredevil’. A hazardous task can be man’s way of getting attention, or a degree of desire to portray, to partake, to establish, to coordinate, a goal far beyond the ordinary path of life.

Let Me now list for you some of the hazardous things that men take upon themselves as necessities, as realities. First: Men loosely treat the Ten Commandments, creating a hazardous time for their Soul, and even the physical body in many ways. Second: Men become outcasts in life in the world when they accept for their everyday way, indifference to social measures, grace and timing. Next: I say this with all the Love from the Heavens, ‘Men walk a tightrope, determining, not infallibility but fallibility, not dexterity but imbalance in physical ability, mental stability, and Spiritual control.’

I am Saint Alphonsus Liguori. Hundreds of Lessons I have given through this child, always to give strength to This Miracle so Worthwhile. I beseech you on this day in your time to acknowledge the Wisdom I present, cling to the Knowledge I extend, and seek the Hope in God’s Plan. So be it.”
