“What man does not realize is this: The eyes of the physical are connected to the Eyes of the Soul, and the ears of the physical connected to the Ears of the Soul, so through these two means man is at all times responsible for the Soul’s Glow. I ask you, My children, to think about this.
On this day, did you kneel for one moment or two or three, to pray in reparation for Souls to come Here one day? I am Saint Alphonsus Liguori. I would shout through this child today but there is no need, for you hear what I say. Men must begin to see the need in the world to pray; not pray for self-satisfaction, but pray for reparation for others to reach Here. Pray unselfishly, pray lovingly, pray hopefully, pray in His Way, not yours. Many men say, ‘I will meditate for hours.’ And now I say: ‘On what, your own power? What will you meditate on, Grace-giving things or self-love?’ Keep this in mind.
Many times when I walked the earth, men would strike out and say, ‘Alphonsus, what are you doing today?’ And I would say, ‘At the moment, greeting you; in a moment, hopefully I will serve The Holy Trinity.’ And the man would say, ‘Is not saying “Hello” to me serving The Holy Trinity?’ And I would smile and say: ‘Not really, not really; I am only respecting the privilege of being man by being cheerful, but to really serve The Holy Trinity takes a far greater act than to please man. Keep this in mind, my friend.’ And then I would go my way. Children feel that if they say ‘Hello’ to someone else they are doing a big thing in the world, especially if they do not like the one to whom they are saying ‘Hello.’
But I come through this child today to give you a Lesson in loving God a particular way. Make reparation, do it His Way; do difficult things, like getting up when you do not feel like it, giving Him time His Way, checking on yourself on how many times during the day you have been obedient or disobedient to The Commandments that He gave. Also, ask yourself each day: Have you grown in Faith His Way, or have you grown in love with yourself your way?
Keep in mind, My little ones, that man’s love is but an imitation of Divine Love. Also, keep in mind that man’s way is but an imitation of His Way; and also, keep in mind that to truly work for The Divine you must be obedient to The Commandments in every way. Make this a rule, make it a plan, make it a way, as you walk as man, and as you do this, remember this: obedience, reparation, trust, Faith, dignity, integrity, hope, love; but above all these things, be just with each other, for through justice you will find purity. So be it.”
