“When gangrene sets in, man worries. When peritonitis sets in, man is concerned much. When a cancerous sore spreads, man instinctively becomes alarmed. When infection is evident, man does not challenge it but he uses means to eliminate it. When sin is committed, man, somehow or other, accepts it lightly, and yet sin is equal to the gangrene, the peritonitis, the cancer, and other things.

Sin says, ‘Weakness.’ Weakness can only be helped by strength. When man wants to correct a wrong issue he shows strength in his manner of speaking, presentation. He uses force to gain ground. Is this not so? Then, My children, would it not be sensible, wise, to stop evil now, before it travels too wide, too deep, before it looks incurable?

The young children are being swept into a funnel that, when they get to the bottom, squeezes so hard upon them that they cannot stand the pressure against them and they feel weak. When they are released from the funnel, they sometimes are distorted in many ways. Satan is using such a means to intimidate the young. There is not enough example of truth, wisdom, integrity, strength, being given by those of more years.

The need for prayer is greater than you know. It is the one thing that man sets aside, puts off, and makes plans for on the morrow. This tomorrow sometimes never comes.

My children, more must receive The Holy Eucharist. More must say a daily Holy Rosary. More must make visits to The Blessed Sacrament. More must kneel and pray. More must do acts of love God’s Way.
