“My children, sacrifice is good, sacrifice is necessary to grow, sacrifice is food, for it keeps a child steady on his feet, humble in his way, thoughtful in his purpose and obedient in a way. Sacrifice means giving, or giving up what is good, what is meaningful, what is special, in a way.
Penance is another thing to perform each day. It’s a means of saving Souls, and also, with the penance that you know, it strengthens you against the evil things, for when man lets penance become a habit, and he dedicates this way, it helps him in a special way and makes him grow in the Divine Plan.
The child spoke to you of The Eucharist; Holy Eucharist, My children. Remember that, each day you can, to receive It. It’s strength-giving and it’s showing the love you have for Him.
My little ones, I know that you are familiar with the beauty of the Rosary and the strength that comes from it. Do say it every day, and remember this: the total number of Mysteries is fifteen. Work up to it, My children. It is part of the scheme to help you honor Her and to love Her more perfectly. So many children do neglect to even say the five. They say it’s tiring, monotonous, and they cast it aside. It’s necessary, has a purpose, and must be said by all. Our Lady asked that it be done, and The Father stands behind Her through it all.
So please, My little ones, open your heart to all the things you know are right, and too, pray much to The Sacred Heart. His Love is shown to you and He does join with you, asking you to love Him as openly as He does you.
Come to Me for protection, for guidance and much care. Ask My Protection when you fear, and I will be there. I love you for your thinking, for your way, and what you will; but, children, be obedient to God’s Will. So be it.”
