“I am Saint Alphonsus Liguori. I have come on this day because of the importance of what I want to say.
If you were to take a number of how many human beings are created every day — now I did not give you a limited place, remember this — how many would you say you would guess would be born in one day? Would you not judge by those you know? Would you be able to cover the world in what you speak and say and show in number? Would you feel that you were part of what was going on because you were interested in the number of them, one by one?
The birth of a human being is a Gift greater than it is ever seen, because the birth very often has very few present who know who it is, but the very fact that the birth is to be able to do many things, that birth still has to go through the routine of learning how to live as a human being. Is this not so?
Ask yourself: When you were created at first, do you remember the day? And when it came time for you to have your first food, do you remember that day? Now, let us go on through time, and now you are close to one year old. Will you remember everything that occurred in that first year you lived in the world? I smile when I say: ‘God knows. How come you don’t know?’ Remember this.”
