“I am Saint Alphonsus Liguori.
Many of Us Saints, in fact All, plead with you to fully understand: to bear the obedience to The Creator is in many ways difficult, because the love that an individual has for The Creator cannot compare to The Creator’s Love for human life.
The Father has given to the world a Blessing far above and beyond what the human mind can perceive It to be. When individuals bless themselves they call it ‘The Sign of The Cross’. It actually means more than it is understood to mean. When you raise your hand to your forehead, it is the highest point of your body, but you are calling upon The Divine King. You say, ‘In the Name of The Father.’ And then you say, ‘In the Name of The Son’; you cross your chest at this time and say, ‘In the Name of The Holy Spirit.’
It is important that you mentally understand what you have spoken, and what the moving of the hands does, because The Father created human life with a mentality and the ability to think of the Importance of life, and all that an individual does, thinks, practices, and is involved in.
You put your hand to your chest where you can feel the beat of your heart. Never forget that The Father is Part of your heart, for when He designed human life, He gave it a Particular Portion of Himself. The heart is to remind you continuously that He Exists, and He is constantly with you in every moment of life. And when you cross your shoulders you say to Him, ‘My whole body is Yours, my God; thank You for the privilege to be born a human being.’
So many human beings of all ages do not understand what a Precious Sign this is. It is a Communicative Sign to The Creator that you understand the Importance that He gave when He created man.
I could speak hours on this subject, but it is important at this time, that more human beings of all ages remember that ‘The Sign of The Cross’ on one’s own body is an Act of Love, an Act of Belief in The Creator, and an Open Act that draws His Attention to you as an individual.
As I close My Words, I say: ‘You have been Blessed abundantly by so much that has been delivered for such a long time. Never allow one bit of It to be ignored by you, because one day when you face The Creator, All will be returned to you in what you learned, and you will be able to give thanks in a beautiful way.’”
