“I am Saint Bernadette.
Mankind, men, women and children, must remember My next Statement. A ‘holiday’ is celebrated for many things, in many ways, but it must never be practiced like a ‘Holy Day’ should be practiced, because in a ‘Holy Day’ there should be much understanding for Whom the ‘Holy Day’ is in Honor of, and what the One Whose Day it is, did in the way of human life.
I am not saying that ‘holidays’ should not be enjoyed, but if the ‘holiday’ falls on a ‘Holy Day’, it should be seen for the importance of it to the Soul, to many Souls, because the day was specified to be important to remind human beings the Honor and Dignity that a Soul stands in; this Soul, of course, having once been upon the earth in a human body.
My Words are different than the Words most often delivered, but it is important for all ages to understand the difference between a ‘Holy Day’ and a ‘holiday’. So be it.”
