“I am Saint Alphonsus Liguori. I spoke much today in a very general way.

Will you please, daily examine your conscience in the right way? Use each Commandment, and be happy when there is a Commandment that you can say, ‘I did not disobey one word of that Commandment today.’

One Commandment that is very important for every human being, and that is the Fourth Commandment where it says, ‘Honor Thy Father And Thy Mother.’ The one Word that is not written should be added to These Words: ‘completely’.

You may ask why I would add this Word to Those Words that have been taught for such a very long time, ‘Honor Thy Father And Thy Mother.’ This means many things. First it means The Heavenly Father and Mother, and remembering that to honor Them there can be no sins, because one small sin takes away the purity, the dignity, the love, the honor.

And now We say ‘the human parental order’ of things. It is sad to hear members of a family speak cruelly, unkindly, insulting to the parents that they are to honor, because it is through these parents that they have been given the privilege of human life, so that one day they will have the privilege to return to The Father, Saints.

Some might question: ‘Is Sainthood greater than I realize It to be? If my Soul belongs to The Father, is a Portion of Him, would not the seed that I was conceived by also contain the Soul?’ There are so many questions, so many answers, so many theories, so many ways for human beings to reach for the Goal intended for human life to be, and that is to become ‘a Saint’.

Do not forget, the human life has many reasons; of course, the Most Important is the Soul, but there are other reasons never thought about because, through human life, one’s actions, intentions, manner of living, can influence another individual, and be a great help, great aid, to encouraging someone else to more fully understand that human life has a Goal for the Soul, and the more that is practiced in The Father’s Name, the more good will come from the Soul.

The Connecting Link is evident, because a human life is created with the ability to understand sound moral values, sound moral standards, sound reasoning, sound purpose, and also the Fact that there is a Goal for human life that no other living matter or thing is capable of, or created for.

Remember each day as you awaken, to say:

‘Dear Father in Heaven, help me to become a Saint today. Please give me the strength to be pure in all I do and say, so when I return Where You are, I will be able to serve You for more Souls to return to You, Saints.’ So be it.”
